HM are currently involved with one of the largest food related projects in the world for Reliance Retail Ltd, (India), involving the design and consultancy for many Packing and processing facilities throughout the sub-continent.

HM are Designing, Construction and commissioning a state-of-the-art packhouse in India for FieldFresh Foods Pvt. Ltd. (A Bharti - Rothchilds Partnership). The packhouse will grade inspect and pack over 24 different products for the Export market.

HM are at present consultants to the construction of a major industrial food park in the Middle East. The park will consist of several independent processing units using a common state of the art cold storage and distribution facility together with a food technology center,maintainence facilities and waste treatment system.

HM have completed a successfully project partially funded by the Netherlands Government for the production of Juice from presently unused material. The project has been a resounding success and phase II will be starting shortly. Due to confidentiality we cannot release details but the process is a world first in Juice production information will be released to European TV viewers shortly.

HM have recently signed an agreement to build a major food processing facility in Latakia, Syria. The project will include Engineering, Project Management and process design

HM Food has recently been awarded a major food project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Due to confidentiality we are unable to release details at present but the project is a first for the Kingdom. The engagement encompasses every stage from Feasibility Plan to Commissioning.

HM Food Consultants and ABCO, Lunenburg, Canada (www.abco.ca) are collaborating on steam blanching projects. Steam Blanching has been used in the food industry for many years, although only now is it becoming widely accepted that blanching with steam has the following qualities:-

Less erosion of raw material, reduced energy usage, better flavour, retention of trace elements and ascorbic acid, less effluent etc. etc. All this leads to increased profits for our clients.
